He said he actually loves Darkfall, the only reason why he is so defiant against LoD is because him and Obs met once in Vegas and other LoD were supposed to show up, something about a LoD LAN. Anyways, it was just him and Obs and I guess they both got drunk and "things" happened. Ever since then he felt ashamed Obs took advantage of him and that is why he is so against Darkfall and anything Obs likes.
