Dude if you think one speech your 8 year old kids are forced to listen to is going to shape their views forever then you aren't doing your job as a parent.
Do you talk to your kids? If so, good! This won't affect them one little bit. People have been brainwashing their kids since time began, and going to school and hearing one speech isn't going to foil your efforts.
They will probably sleep through the goddamn thing anyway, you think they care about politics at this point?
