Hrm, it took Bush 8 years to add 4.5 trillion to the deficit...

It only took Obama 8 months to contribute 31% of that same amount...

You can't "fix eight" years when you're spending at a 10x faster pace either...

I have already stated this in the past here...

I have an eye disease called Keratoconus that leaves me blind in my left eye. I was wanting to join the military until finding out about it 6 years ago... However, it's good that it happened in a way since I am now in my Junior year towards obtaining my degree in computer science specializing in programming. There really is no point in bringing this up in the first place son... Please spare the unoriginal jokes, since they are neither clever nor funny...

The Olympics would have been great here but when you have someone that lobbies for it to be held in the state that this person was a Senator for it becomes rather fishy.

Why couldn't he have lobbied for it to be somewhere else that he wasn't affiiliated with?

Sounds like an excuse to me! Join a private contracting company!

Were there any other US cities in the running for the Olympics?

Speaking of unoriginal jokes. I am definitely old enough to be your father, the son thing wasn't funny in the first place. Kinda like the bubba thumped thing your boyfriend adds to all the threads you participate in.

those are a matter of opinion if they were the step in the right direction.

to me its a bunch of bullshit, most of that shit doesn't even apply to lower class.

a few problems i have with what you stated.

2 billion in batteries? what is solar energy chopped liver? we have the solution, but if they blow enough smoke up your ass you think its fine. By the way i dunno where that 2 billion went to but was it government research? if so thats a shit on the face right there, independent research is where the money should go, unless you honestly believe the solution to electricity will be given to us no problem, then your a retard.

tax credit for college tuition? 2500 what the fuck is that? community college already had the pell grant, that covered most universities. and community so what are we looking at a tuition break for those that already make the money to go to college. Ya that makes sense....

fuck pakistan and fuck the middle east, why is that our problem, we arent hero's we arent supermen, our country is fucked up fuck them all over there, let the euro fix their problems.

the stimulous bill just helped failing companys, fuck em, theres no reason why an american car should cost more than a japanese car. thats greedy shit and their own downfall.

and the gang shit? lol thats only to help middle age white women (like yourself) feel safe when they go to the piggly wiggle. You wanna stop gangs? legalize drugs. end of story.

i dunno stretch you group me with bob and faust cuz i oppose you but let me make this clear, i think hey are both retards as well. I will not like a president until whoever it is, whether its bush jr, jr. or obama or whoever untill they tackle the biggest problem that is ruining our country and the most illegal program in the world.

The IRS and Federal Reserve.

I'll premise my response with the fact that I am an assistant researching physicist at a top California University laboratory.

Firstly, one of the physicists that works in my building, a Nobel Laurette, focuses in the highly competitive research field of solar power. He and his group have been struggling to hire undergraduates, graduates and post-docs due to lack of available grant money. These people are essential to the speedy development of new technologies. After the National Science Foundation received $3 billion from the stimulus, grants began to flow. After his group received a stimulus grant, he was "able to do two-three years of work in five months" as he put it. Now his polymer based solar panels are in production and already in use within the military. Expect to see houses and cars coated with his groups revolutionary work in the coming years. That two (possibly more) years saved is a crucial relief to the energy stress our country and the world faces.

Secondly,
I happened to start my college carrier at a community college. $2500 extra might not sound like a lot, but when you are a student taking anywhere from 14-20 units a semester (especially science units), your time is extremely limited. If I would have had that extra $2500, I would have been able to work less and I would not have needed to stay for an extra semester due to more available time to schedule classes. That, in turn, would have lead to even more money saved because I had to transfer right after my last semester (mid year), throwing off my schedule and essentially making me take one or two useless quarters at university, which as we know is much more expensive.

So, in conclusion:
I know this is the internet, but fuck, don't be ignant.

i'd like to read more about the solar panels if you got a link or some documents. Of course i really couldn't know about this without extensive research so ya thats kick ass and if u can give me more info i might just fall in love.

as far as the extra 2500 dollars, i mean thats all situational. I'm enrolled in community college right now till my associates and i recieve 1300 back each semester, it does help especially getting to ball out and get shit but work less?

"hey boss i got an extra 2500 dollars for school so can you put me on part time for a month or two please"

as fucked as the economy is right now, i dont see anyone in their right mind trying to work "less"

Google "polymer sonal panels" and I'm sure you'll find plenty to read.

I, and other students I knew, worked less where possible because the work load for school was quite demanding. I filled in the lost hours by tutoring, which was fast and easy money. I realize that doesn't apply to every community college student, but it applies to enough. I personally can say it would have helped out at least 20 people I studied with regularly in a dramatic way. I knew people who had to take semesters off to work more because books and other fees usually were not covered by our scholarships.
