You're the reason that the PC version sucks and they aren't spending any extra resources to make it better. I haven't even played SP yet and probably won't get to it for a while. The game is all about MP.

No, greed is why the PC version sucks. Didn't we ALL buy a legit copy (some of us 2) when the original came out? I specifically remember everyone of us having this game and playing it online legally.

Less than 24 hours after MW2 there are already wallhacks and aimhacks out. There is also a multiplayer hack.

Since there are no dedicated servers, there is absolutely no safe haven for you to play against non-hackers. Enjoy multiplayer now, because within 2 weeks you won't be able to play ANY online game of MW2 on the PC without playing against hackers and cheaters.

These stupid changes will only hurt their sales. If you think it won't, then why don't you read the above 20 people who will not purchase the game. All of them would have bought it otherwise.

If the game is even slightly ported to PC i will not buy. After playing ATLEAST 3 games that were ported over, I will never waste my money on a game that wasn't made for a pc.

I'm not arguing against dedicated servers or a solid PC version. Of course we would all want that. I'm just giving your my opinion as to why they decided against it.

I disagree that this will hurt their sales. CoD4 had a record number of piracy for the PC version, and there are a lot of people that will now buy a console version instead of pirating a PC version. They also saved millions of dollars in development by spending a short period of time porting to the PC without adding new features.

In the end, MW2 is a console game. So if you want to play then get a console or just wait for the next PC specific FPS. Although, they all seem to be turning into console games.

CoD is totally a console game. And I agree, FPS genre going in that direction. I think a lot of that has to do with the equalization of performance - which is really nice; the playing field is always totally leveled.

Games like CoD are way more fun with a group of a friends on a console than a PC, anyway. At least for me, a lot of my friends always have a console but not a constantly upgraded PC, also there is the ability to shoot the shit in the living room when gamers are over and want to get bloody over some beers and right of rotation of the sticks. Trying that around a desk and monitor is more depressing than cool.

I would never play a highly realistic type shooter on a console. I was just playing the game in full 1080 with all the settings maxed. I guarantee the xbox will never look this good. Not to mention I can point exactly where I want to and shoot with a response time that doesn't make it feel like I'm playing a stupid arcade game.
