Lords of Death Forums Is Darkfall worth it?

He proclaimed in April the game had 3 months left, and then in May he proclaims theres a "possibility it won't even last two more months".

but I agree I havnt liked a MMO since UO, DF beats any MMO ever to hit the market and i think it will hold true for along ass time to come, not to mention ever patch gets better.

You want to argue the games not dead? Has the population GROWN since I made that proclamation? How many people have quit the game since I said that.. no the games not dead you're right if people can log in that shit must be thriving.

Only complaint I have about DF is not enough hotbar squares...

Game lets you have everything but it doesnt let you have enough squares to 'have everything'

The FPS aspect its the same as playing a quake/unreal... only the more you use something (your personal play style) it levels up & becomes more effective..

Melee in DF is 10x better than melee in any other FPS game.. still could use some tweaking for those faggots that ONLY USE MELEE (I know it gets boring for anyone that plays slash/hack/slash only) but that happens in any game... srsly show me a maxed out 'tank/melee/warrior/etc.' in any game that isnt 'boring' or lacking in the flavor department.

The grind is only there if you want it to be..

You can mash monsters as a monster masher if you want to.. but you could also make a living in this game AFK whacking nodes & watching trade chats..

You can go out into the world & find pvp just the same as you can stay 'home' & fuck with your friends.

Its a fucking sandbox & you really can play the way you want to play..

Population's in MMO's changing in a guild is nothing new. Most LoD will agree that UO was the best Full loot PVP game around 10 years ago. Our membership varied from 8-85 like a roller coaster the whole time we played it officially.

I can play darkfall and find PVP in the day time PST with in 15 minutes of logging in, I cannot consider a game like that dead. It might not ever have major numbers but as long as people are enjoying it who really cares?

I would recommend the game, it is the best Full loot, Fantasy PVP game out. It's only competition is Mortal Online and that is still a mess.......
