Lords of Death Forums Is Darkfall worth it?

Resubbed a week and a half ago and the grind is way less, getting gear is way easier and I am enjoying it so far, much more than I did before, which was almost zero enjoyment.

Already have 60 quickness and in the 40s str/vit

naw gains are much faster, so I am able to compete much quicker. regs are much easier to get and mobs are much easier to kill, so there is no worry with any of that now.

try it out again man. believe me I hated darkfall when it released. all I did was macro hitting a friend or parry or shoot arrows in the sky to level, wasn't fun, i never really played.

Much better games on the market atm.. and I'm out of the MMO game set until something thats actually good releases.

Besides leveling was just one issue with the game I always felt the combat in darkfall aside from archery was imensely borring and unimaginative.

Yeah it all depends on your priorities. I went back to fucking WoW again, got bored, played Xbox only here and there with RDR, NBA2k10 and then i got a PS3 dirt cheap on ebay and got Fifa10... game is awesome. Basically I only play DF and Fifa10 now.

The combat could be better in DF no doubt, however, it is skilled especially when you have a array of spells to use and stats to go along with it. The melee combat is the worse, by far, but the skill part of it keeps me interested just because each race takes a little bit of a different style to hit do to racial looks and hit boxes.

As far as MMOs, good luck with that. My next big game will be Diablo 3 with maybe some part time Madden11, Fifa 11 and SBEmulator server
