wow the 3v3 is really fun played a few games of that today.. its almost like you're playing a completely different game because it allows you to do so much more.
on offense you get to block people.. kinda cool knocking people on their ass with offensive players lol..
on defence its interesting the feild is reversed really nice feels much more like a football game should.
I played with 2 random people, mics are a requirement for this otherwise it would be really lame I think.. you can help eachother out by calling out open WRs, clock timing issues and coverage/blocking.
also people can play two of the same position.. for instance 2 DL which is really nice for blitzing.
also the 3v3 comes with acheivements that actually give you INGAME bonus' they have requirements like 150+ yards with 1 WR + 2 TDs in a game to unlock bonus catch abilities like +2 spectacular catch.. So if you playing the WR all the stats you unlocked are boosted (on any WR/RB/QB/LB/DL etc etc).
Interesting shit, that does sound fun and I was wondering how 3v3 would pan out, since the mode was designed specifically for this... where as last year the the co-op shit was just plain garbage, same ole co-op we've always had for yearsss.
Anyways, I'll be getting Madden probably this weekend but probably not on Xbox. Since my Live expired recently and also I have 3 active friends on PSN who play both Madden, FIFA and a variety of other games, where as on Live i have friends who play the game for 1 day and never see them again or they get beat in Madden and don't want to improve.
But yeah that seems fun playing a variety of positions with 2 other people in a mode that was created correctly.
Also, Backbreaker does look fun, but it looks too much arcade for me, I dunno, I enjoy more sim style, but maybe I should try it out.
