LeX]Not stacking units is fine and it doesn't make games longer at all. You should be playing by the MP rules that most players use and you're games should last anywhere from 10 mins to 3 hours.

Yeah see I've never played that way either. I've never done Civ league games. When Civ first had Multiplayer, back in Civ2 Gold?? Or Civ3? I played a bunch, but there were no set rules, just of the creator.
Those settings would be nice for PvP though, but I play mostly with casual friends who don't have as much experience with Civ games.
If I had more personal time (not devoted to DF or Madden) i'd probably try this civplayers.com out
