You're probably still overheating. Power supplies are easy to diagnose, and they don't exponentially turn your computer off faster and faster. Overheating does that.
What kind of video card do you have? Are the capacitors popped on it?
After you replace the power supply, replace the video card first. Then check memory, then check processor, then check hard drive.
