Maybe activision really did steal blizzards soul. This gameplay video looks terrible IMHO.


I think the graphic styling of World of Warcraft was a bad choice. Their polygon count looks dated. Wishy washy textures. Not impressed yet.

I think you're forgetting the fact that graphics don't matter at all. As long as the gameplay is exceptional then the graphics won't matter.

Looks way slower paced than D2. Also no world pk.

As to jamie's comment, I don't think Rainman is commenting on just the graphics... the *GAMEPLAY* looks bad.

Looks like exactly like d2 with new graphics to me. It's been pushed back to 2012 anyway, probably for some of the reasons already mentioned.

They do it because:

A) People are going to buy the game anyways (you will, suck it up)

B) Blizzard is obsessed with dated GFX for a few reasons; #1 is money and #2 because it runs on all PCs which brings it back to #1

Just my opinion but that's the way I feel.

What about the gameplay looks exceptional? I see nothing new or innovative and I haven't even heard of anything new or innovated being announced. Another rehash to cash in on a past popular title.

If they called this game anything other than diablo 3, it would be getting shit on by the press right now for this horrible video.
