I haeven't read the books. I was pretty shocked when they cut dudes head off. Was not expecting that. Can;t wait to see what happens with those crazy undead monsters and how they will tie in.

Gunna get the books asap.

best book series imo. been reading them for almost 10 years

because george rr martin is a fat fuck who doesn't know how to release books on time. Been waiting forever for book 5

I love how the fantasy aspects, both in the books and in the TV show, don't come to the forefront often, but when they do it's right in your face.

The parts with the pyromancer/necromancer after the red wedding made me nearly drop my fucking book and again in the finale when they go full dragon.

As far as how the series is going to go, I predict it will be Tyrion at the head of House Lannister, Snow at the head of House Stark and Daenarys returning to the iron throne and facing the threat from the north somewhat united.

Well no spoilers here but one of the things I truely loved about the series is how you can become very 'attached' to a char only to have them die on you.. example being Ned without giving anything away.

I too have been reading this series from the time of being just a kid in like middle school lol..

I'm tempted to re-read the first 2-3 books again but I know how long they are & I dont exactly have the time to tackle em.. I will sugjest to anyone that has not read them to do so as they really are that fucking good
