the majority of the gaming community is bad, Legends and good pvpers are few and far in between. plenty of the people who are bad are bad because they cannot devote hours upon hours into a game for the simple fact of having a professional job.. owning a buisness or raising a family or all of the above.. however these are the people who probably buy gold/items the most for the simple fact of trying to stay up to par with people who have the time to go farm and better their chars and fully supply their habits IG. so now with this being legalized ur going to see more baddies with top end loot... in the end benefiting a clan such as LoD because most of you are top knotch pvpers. so the more baddies wearing good gear the more ur going to get. and if ur still fucking around with games where gear outweighs skill ur gaming the wrong way.

I dont have a problem with people spending their hard earned money for video games. Some people just dont have the time required to get the levels, or items needed to be competitive in most mmos. But in APB you can buy weapons and gear to make the game more enjoyable without having to grind all day long and for those that have jobs/lives/etc a bit more competitive.

Take Roby for example, he works for long hours pretty much everyday, and he doesnt have the time to grind standing and cash all day long in APB to get the good shit. And with the starting noob weapons he couldnt hit the broadside of a barn to save his life. But with the pay-2-win weapons, atleast now the game is enjoyable and he can somewhat kill people (mostly me that faggot) on a regular basis.

I think it is balance. Bads can buy premium weps and compete. All is well in the world! :P

As long as it doesn't kill balance vs f2p players, I think it's ok. I can see the upside of spending money rather than time, which is the only option for some.

I can easily see Blizzard get greedy if it takes off though, aggressively pushing new items for players to keep the edge, like fucking seasonal arena gear for real currency.

Skill should obviously be more important than wallet. But skill often gets dominated by people who have shitloads of time. If I could spend a few dollars and play fewer hours, that makes sense to me. At the same time, many things should only be available through actual gameplay.

PS i heard this game only has consensual pvp, does balance even matter in this game?

So because of someones financial stability they are consider a no lifer? Money makes money. if you designed your own game youd implement the same things, thats why the game is free.. and the newbie weapons and the lower tier weapons will always blow, thats why in APB a free to play. they sell top end guns for cash im sure you already know this.. but everyones out to make money. and if roby so choses to spend cash on a game its his hobby something he enjoys and something to pass the time... who cares.. and if you dont have the extra 20-30 dollars to drop on a game to have fun.. u shouldnt be gaming.
