Live press conference is making everything official now. Although the rumors have been circulating for the last week.
Going to be awesome. Expect 4 PPV quality cards on Fox each year. With the ultimate fighter and other UFC programming on the lesser fox channels. Like FX and Fuel.

Listening to the press conference now, so far...
32 live fight events each year on FX!
2 The ultimate fighters a year, with a new show format & it will be LIVE instead of pre-recorded, fox's attempt to steal all Friday night sports demographics.
pre & post fights live on Fuel TV and all of UFC's other programming on Fuel.

Bleh, MMA is so two years ago.
When they come out with a version that they fight to the death, or make it like the OG UFC where they fight multiple opponents each day to win the tourny I would start giving a shit again.
To all you virgins, thanks for nothing.

MMA has yet to reach its peak, when people were saying it peaked out 3-4 years ago. It's only gaining popularity. As the fad sweeps through the hipster masses a few of them will become permanent sports fans as the others move on to the next "cool thing".

Damn, does that mean I am going to have to see the gay affliction attire for years to come still?

Another thing Dana just touched on that sounded interesting...
They said they are changing their entire format from the ground up now. For the PPV's, The Ultimate Fighter, Fight Nights, etc...
They said they still retain all production, but they want to update it to modern times and use this as a fresh start. No metal\rock intro, no gladiator, new signage\logos, etc...

I heard Plex has Affliction tattoos.
@Rainman: I am so glad they are redoing their format and shit, especially taking out that retarded intro with music, they have had that shit for like 10 yrs now.

I think they should have wrastling intro's, like costumes and yelling on the top of their lungs with methface. D:

the TUF music was the worst. Really cheesy metal parts between rounds/fights.
