Any of you guys into shooting sports? I've been shooting trap/skeet 3 times a week with a browning cynergy for awhile now. Have placed in a few of the tournaments. I fucking love it. The competition scene is fun as hell.

I haven't shot any trap/skeet for a very long time, but loved it when I did. One of my first jobs was working at a local Trap & Skeet range as a puller. Loved the job, but the tournaments were filled with the oldest, crankiest bastards alive. Doesn't look like anything I'd want to participate in. Maybe if the scene is different now (that was almost 20 years ago) and there are more young and cool people doing it it might be fun.

Oh - the owners used to let us run a tab against our paychecks for ammo and rounds. I once got a check for 36 cents :P Black and blue shoulder for the win!

Yeah, did a bunch but never as a competitive sport. Have an old Army/Navy 16 gauge and a VERY nice Remington double barrel from the 1920's.

Lately I've been doing a lot of skeet shooting with a long bow. Haven't hit anything yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

Grats on the tournament scene!

I shoot sporting clays. Used to do a lot of it when i was a kid. I've got 3 over/under shotguns which I inherited. Some pretty amazing guns actually. I want to start going again and competing but I need to find a friend who's into it as well.

At my club there is one cranky bastard, but the others have realized that the sport will die if they don't start helping the new shooters and exposing a younger crowd to it. I am 28 and we have quite a few younger than me now. So far everyone I have encountered have been good people.

I wish I was in CA, I need someone who isn't 60+ to shoot with hahaha. The guy I go with every week is 65. He is an old A Class Skeet shooter though. Those old men will get your ass in shape in no time.

Put probably 50,000 rounds through a M240G, now i have a springfield xD ive never shot. Once you go full auto everything else kind of loses its appeal.
