Anti] Vermithrax]Watched episode 2 last night. I don't remember one of danys' bloodriders coming back with his head chopped off while searching for shelter/water. Am I just remembering wrong or did they embelish that? I was going to watch episode 2 tonight, but in the books none of them die. It will be interesting to see how they continue the story with only 2 of them, since they are all important in the rest of her journey. That's what I remember as well. There's another pretty major plot deviation in Episode 2 in the last 60 seconds, but I won't spoil. I wonder how much more they are going to deviate from the plot of the books.

I've actually thought the first two episodes have been pretty slow...although the second book was also slow and then the third book went crazy.
Pretty sure all the bloodriders came back alive when they split up in the book.

Totally slow man. I wish every book/TV show/movie/game was like 300 and gears of war. I wish every sword in GoT had a chainsaw on it.

I've actually thought the first two episodes have been pretty slow... They are squeezing 150 pages into 7 minute segments. Seems fast if you ask me. I would much prefer to see a 12 episode series instead of 10.

The part of these books that really kept me hooked was watching the deceptions and plans unravel and just shaking my head at the people/persons behind them going, "Wow....that is one cold hearted calculating motherfucker right there."
It's much more difficult to do that in a movie/show because you don't get the benefit of the first person perspective like you do in a book. You cannot "hear" what the character is thinking as they hatch these incredibly devious and complex plans.
So far, they have done a great job. Following what I said above, you have to be patient because all of these things that seem trivial and unimportant now turn into really BIG deals later in the story.
