From the Diablo 3 beta I think the game will be decent, but not worth 60$ (I would pick up at 20$ down the line). I will buy torchlight 2 for 20$ that will be as good if not better then Diablo 3 it also now has Muti-player online and LAN support.

Only company that has failed is Hellgate Londons. Torchlights working on a sequel, and of course arenanet is about to release the most successful mmo thus far of 2011-2012. If by successful you are going by how many people prepaid/preordered.

A lot of the smaller guys have scattered throughout the gaming industry, but that would have happened anyway with the hundreds of layoffs blizzard keeps going through year after year.

torchlight was great but they failed huge on lack of multi player. 9 outta 10 people said that if TL was out after d3 that they wont touch it, multi or not. they better hold off a year now before they release it or they wont get their moneys worth

Not to mention player modding. Adds a another whole world to the game. Endless content.

picking it up and playing it regardless. looking forward to nerding it up with some of you dudes again.
