For those that haven't had a chance to watch yet, this is what is in store.

No spoilers (for the most part)

Don't read threads about GoT if you don't want shit spoiled.

I'm just curious why everyone has to walk on eggshells on message boards because some people aren't totally caught up on the series.

The simple way to avoid spoilers is to not click on anything GoT related. I'd never spoil anything that happened in the books that hasn't happened yet in the TV series, but when is a safe time to speak openly about events that already happened in both the books and the tv series?

I agree completely. I was just referencing the title of Hoax's post, and I was 90% joking. A thread titled, "GoT new episode reactions" is the same thing as saying that serious shit goes down in the current episode. Maybe not what the "serious shit" is, but just that "serious shit" happens; knowing is half the battle. Most of the time you can predict what happens, or who is involved, just by knowing the timing of "serious shit."

Luckily, I am far enough behind that I don't actually know which episode number this is and will still hopefully be caught off guard. Plus, it's not that big of a surprise that "serious shit" goes down towards the end of the season. Like I said, I was 90% joking. The remaining 10% was me being jelly at not being caught up.

Like, because there is a reaction video, I gotta guess that (1) someone dies; (2) it's a main character; (3) it's a popular main character; (4) it's unexpected.

I'm already making predictions. Dammit brain, stop, stop damn you!

Ya, I'll grant that the title alone implies something big happens.

What's your prediction?

Granted, this will probably be horribly wrong.. but my thinking was: a beloved character will die, quickly, in a pretty violent fashion. You need something quick and brutal to get people to hold their hands to their mouths. That also makes me think it's a woman. I'm saying either Khaleesi or the younger Stark daughter (the one that took dancing lessons). But the Khaleesi has dragons and eliminating her takes out one of the factions. Final answer: younger Stark daughter.

I will not return to this thread until I have caught up! Maybe I'll do that tonight.
