I ended up watching the whole thing too. Towards the end of the first round, Watson seems to be "thinking" of answers that aren't remotely close to the real answer. Then, once the second round begins he flies through the first 5 questions or so with high accuracy. A little fishy, although I don't doubt the legitimacy of Watson. The way it processes the questions could affect which ones it chooses, and because it was the end of the round he could have not chosen these at first already knowing he didn't have the answer.
It's pretty amazing what math and a programming language can produce.
