This movie could be half as good as the original and it still would be the 2nd best action movie ever. Let's hope they get decent American distribution this time around and it gets the major theatrical run it deserves.

Holy shit. Never saw the first one, but I LOVED Kung Fu Hustle. It's funny, because I was watching the trailer for the first one and thought, "this reminds me of Kung Fu Hustle." Turns out it's the same director.

I know what I'm doing tonight.

KungFu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer are great flicks but they are directed by Stephen Chow. Raid:Redemption is directed by Gareth Evans.

Stephen Chow goes more for action movies with story and heart, where as Gareth goes for full blown, mind bending action that amounts to little more then fight porn.

Sonya i swear to god you will see one scene from The Raid where like fucking 72 dudes get stabbed in one scene.

And the soundtrack is by Mike Shinoda, all around awesome and mostly unknown movie.

Did I just miss something? I thought the trailer said same director as Kung Fu Hustle.

And I am stoked to watch the Raid! Let's do this shit.

Yeah, loved Kung Fu hustle. IP Man is very good as well, IP Man 1 and 2 probably the best action flicks I've seen.
