That is interesting, all of us without kids want to slap the parent in the face for letting this happen, all of us with kids think its "cute". This is like when i want to strangle parents who lets their kids scream in the store.

You guys making an awful lot of assumptions based off a short video. For example, Zeke assumed he was copying a husband calling her Linda. If you read the comments, she actually says she taught them their parents names in case they ever get lost.

The mom probably recorded it because it is actually pretty funny for a kid so young to talk this way. You have no idea what she did after the turned the video off. Mexicans usually don't pull any punches with their kids. At least the ones I know. They're not afraid to slap the shit out of a kid if they need it. She threatens to spank him at around the one minute mark. She's probably not gonna woop the kids ass and put it on youtube.

Also, if you guys curb stomp your kid every time he tries to express himself in a frustrated way at 3 years old, I feel sorry for your future children. Read a book.....kids at that age are just learning how to express their emotions. You can teach em boundaries without defaulting to fear. And yes, I spanked the living shit out of my kid once or twice in his formative years. That's all it took....

I don't have kids, but i'm just saying what would have happened to me if I would have talked that way to my parents.

Im also going from experience with my own parents, that would have resulted in a wooden salad spoon whooppin.

Maybe that's why I'm not so quick to beat my kid. I was born and raised in the Old South. Memphis, TN. It was still legal to paddle kids with a big ass wooden stick when I was in grade school there. My dad was quick to resort to that to solve all problems as well. Coming from that and having a kid of my own now, I can say from experiencing both sides, there's a better way. Like I said, I definitely spanked my kid a time or two when he got really out of hand. But believe it or not, if you're a reasonably intelligent person, your kids usually are too and you'd be surprised how much you can resolve by simply...I dunno....talking to them?

I guess it depends on the type of family like you said and how they are raised. I would have never spoken to my parents in that way. I'm guessing I may have at a real early age and I learned the hard way it was never ok to do that lol.
