What it boils down to Sonya is I don't think they (our government) spends my tax money wisely, so the less of it they have, the better. The more things that are in the private sector where things are driven by competition, the better. Do you not agree with that in principle?

that are not part of a CEO/CFO/etc. salary but typically taken right off the top of the profit lines to limit tax liabilities etc.

If your serious about this, I HIGHLY recommend two things.

1. Read (or listen to) the book, "Thinking Fast, and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. This will give you a lot of insight into how we think. It's also got a lot of great information about different mental biases. The author is a nobel prize winner and for the majority of his career was a psychologist with a solid background in mathematical statistics. His life's work so to speak is figuring out WHY humans make the decisions we make.

2. Take a logic course at your local community college. Logic classes are hard as fuck if you've never taken one but once you "get it", you will be much more mentally well armed and able to recognize and filter bullshit.

Yeah, planned on going back to school here in May. I'll check that book out. Its mostly just an inability to effectively convey what the fuck I want too and its fucking aggravating. This does however lead to some hilarious forum shit. Good shit all around though. Been fun.
