The girl I am dating right now is corrections officer and currently works intake for Placer County jail. She would certainly agree that the jails house more mentally ill people than the looney bins do. Not to spark another huge debate, but it's pretty sad when inmates enjoy more medical services (because they're free) than the average lower middle class person.
