Do you even realize what you just did right there? You just made a sweeping statement that energy is a non-issue because if humans wanted to fix it, we could. You essentially alluded to the fact there is some mysterious form of infinite energy out there that we can find "if we want to". Then in you're next sentence you tell me I'm silly for believing there's not a limited supply of resources. How exactly do you explain black outs and brown outs then? Do you also believe in magic Fly? Well of course you do because you also mentioned the magic man in the sky several times as well.

In case you didn't know, fresh water is a necessity for human and plant life and there is a limited supply of it. By limited I mean rainwater only replenishes underground water sources at specific rate and if you leech the water out of those sources before it refills, you have effectively made that water a non-renewable resource. I hate to tell you but possibilities don't water crops and magic doesn't make garbage and other waste go poof.
Speaking of, you didn't even address my point about waste. Humans produce garbage and waste. And a fucking lot of it. Are you aware of how many tons of garbage are in the ocean right now? Waste disposal is just as important as resource consumption. In the words of your own initiate, do you even biology bro? Do you know how beer is made? Even at the micro organism level, once a creature can no longer dispose of its waste without toxifying its environment, it's a dead man walking.
If I am going to continue this discussion with you, you're going to have to stop making really dumb statements like the above and continuing with weird analogies and anecdotal references.
Can you even provide one credible source to back up anything you just said about energy and resources being infinite? Do you have anything at all to say about waste disposal as it relates to a maximum human population on this planet? Bill Nye would slap you silly if he read what you wrote. There absolutely is a finite amount of resources on this planet. It's a scientific fact. To argue otherwise borders on insanity or complete and total ignorance.
