I will choose one of your last points, the one about harvesting the floating debris island in the Pacific to form superstructures to continue to house humans. Ever heard of photosynthesis? Blocking out that much sunlight would turn the oceans into underwater deserts. This would cause catastrophic damage to the food chain alone and kill off much of the marine life in very short time. This chain reaction would then spread across the worlds oceans, because the marine biosphere is connected like that. All of this damage would be irreversible.

Not surprised to hear this coming from someone who doesn't believe in global warming....
