P.S. I don't think that Vermi can cite where it says that in a perfect world where humans think about humans instead of #1 that the Earth will fall apart with a population of 50 billion people.. or 100 billion people.

How will people get water?
Space.

How will people get food?
Astro-griculture

How will people get Oxygen?
Find a planet with oxygen and use a vacuum to replenish our atmosphere with the other planet's atmosphere.

AGH!! That's just me being a big dumb dummy head again, thinking out of the box, sorry.
If you can cite me what to think I'll think thoughts you think should be thought.

It does need to be said, fly is right when it comes to nuclear. No other energy source comes close. Nothing is matches nuclear in terms of efficiencies versus cleanliness and even safety.

Ok Science guy you clearly know your oceans better than I do.. prepare to get fuct & please fact check me.. you bring the sources of knowledge because I'm clearly the crazy guy.. so you prove me the crazy not I prove the crazy.. Just to shut you the fuck down though.. have fun on this fact checking adventure.. you will find everything I am saying is true & you are an absolute asshole for even trying (goes for you too Vermi as I haven't begun to pick you apart yet but your post is coming now that I am done with kid duty)

First, I said nothing of housing humans to the level of blotting out the sun getting to NEEDED parts of our oceans - that would be a completely unintelligent thing to do.. why would someone take the time to cleanup the earths oceans just to ruin earths oceans in their next motion? Are you being combative here just because you don't have anything else?

Now, to stay on that subject because you are clearly in the know.. last I checked superstructures already exist on todays oceans & for the most part no they do not actually destroy ocean life (yes people can still be people & fuck shit up if they want.. humans make their choices). For some examples of super structures already on our oceans.. How about an aircraft carrier? How about a cruise ship? oh I know those don't count because they move... well than how about an oil rig? How about some super structure dock/pier work? etc. etc. etc.

In fact, & this can be proven so please fact check me.. the placement of structures where there previously was none in the ocean actually PROMOTES OCEAN LIFE not destroys it. NEWS FLASH THERE?

Guess you didn't get the memo that we actually like to sink boats & even dump things like old train cars into the ocean.. We do this because we have found that we could take what was once a completely empty part of the ocean & SPARK LIFE TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN THERE BY PROVIDING A PLACE FOR IT TO DO SO. We start where there used to be the empty, sandy bottom of the ocean, & then sink a ship or drop a collection of big ole empty train cars.. Now, this will be a shocker for you.. small life begins to attach itself to these 'wreaks' - this attracts more small life.. which in turn attracts some larger life.. & so on & so on. Where there used to be nothing in this area of the ocean there is now something.. we humans can do that & we need to do more of it

Follow along now.. & don't forget to fact check me; did you know our oceans are more empty of life than they are full of life? Yes that's right.. there's a WHOLE LOT MORE EMPTY SPACE IN OUR OCEANS THAN NOT! Now.. would it be crazy to think that its our jobs as humans, the stewards of our planet, to actually work to fill our oceans? Yeah that's fucking crazy talk & humans couldn't possibly work to promote our environment.. well definitely not here in merica because the merican way is to fuck shit up you know.. lol

So again getting back to that point.. no bro & I CAN FACTUALLY PROVE IT TO YOU - you could take a completely empty part of the ocean.. park an oil rig on it (but ohnoes don't do that its completely evil & bad for the planet.. lol?) - watch what happens to the sea life around the oil rig.. I will give you a hint; WHERE THERE USED TO BE NO LIFE IN THAT AREA OF THE OCEAN THERES ACTUALLY LIFE AROUND THE DAMN EVIL THING.. HOLY SHIT! Could it be because just like we just fact checked a moment ago.. that small life begins grows on the rig's stilts.. & then small fish come to eat the life that's growing on the rig.. & then bigger fish come to eat the smaller fish.. & then sharks come to eat the bigger fish.. & & & & omg I think we actually did something here.............. oh wait fact check that I'm crazy & haven't got a fucking clue what I am talking about

You know what.. fuck that you haven't got a fucking clue

YOU READY TO HAVE YOUR WHOLE SUNLIGHT POINT ACTUALLY BLOWN OUT THE FUCKING WATER? (hey that was punny! & don't forget to fact check)

Do you have any idea how much of our oceans floors actually receive sunlight? Damn.. fact checking mission! There's more of our oceans floors that don't see the sun than does see the sun.. so your "but fly your so stupid your going to blot out the sun with your stupad" is just fucking stupid..

Need a local example you can see, touch, & observe yourself? Well actually go down to the pier at the ocean & watch.. do you really think that big structure blocks out the sun & destroys all sea life under it? Umm no.. last I checked it was actually easier to catch a fish off the pier than it was off the beach.... not sure how you would fact check that.. except maybe talk to someone that actually plays in the ocean.. like a fisherman or something which I am clearly not & haven't a clue (PM me & I will shoot you blue prints to 3 fishing boats I am helping to design with my father for Cabelas & the 2015 season.. opps I forgot I am a derp derp.. don't ask just imagine a clean energy 12 foot bass fishing boat that penetrates no deeper than 6" in the water under full load as an example.)

Seriously though I have to ask though.. Again why would I work to clean up our oceans just to fuck them up after? Again, knowing more of our ocean doesn't get sun than does.. & that there's more empty space in the ocean that needs life than not.. why wouldn't I chose to build my super structures in those locations?

No no no.. let me build a city the size of Vancouver over the great barrier reef & just fuck that all up - that's a great idea that's what we should do....... merica! fuck yeah! You are so narrowly focused you teeny tiny brain.

This next one might blow your mind a bit.. the logic is a fucking reach I know.....

NOW WHY ON EARTH WOULD I WORK TO BUILD CITIES DIRECTLY ON OUR OCEANS WHEN WE HAVENT EVEN FILLED UP OUR LAND MASS YET? OPPS FACT CHECK ME - hint ; google search satellite images of the earth AT NIGHT TIME.. SEE ALL THE EMPTY SPACES WHERE THERE IS NO LIGHTS OF CIVILIZATION? YEAH WE GOT LOTS & LOTS & LOTS MORE LAND ROOM FOR LOTS & LOTS & LOTS MORE OF PEOPLE.. RIGHT HERE ON LAND SO AGAIN WHY GO JACKING UP OUR OCEANS LIKE THAT?

BUT WAIT I'M MERICAN & DO YOU KNOW WHAT I DO WHEN YOU TELL ME I CANNOT DO SOMETHING.. I GIVE YOU MY BIG MERICAN MIDDLE FINGER.. READY FOR THIS? GET OUT YOUR FACT CHECKER~

Don't we have more water than land? No no no that cant be right last I heard world was fucking flat we have to have more land than water. BUT LETS JUST SORT OF PRETEND FOR A MOMENT THAT THERE IS MORE WATER THAN LAND... UMMMMMM ready to fact check this one?

Fuck it I'll just fact check for you to keep it simple

The Los Angeles metropolitan area has a total area of 4,850 square miles

The oceans cover 141,600,000 square miles, or 72% of the earth's surface. (fuck.. & I thought we were just pretending there's more oceans than land).

So there you have your math.. if I wanted to build a city the size of Los Angeles it would take up all of less than a hundredth of a percent of our oceans surface area... which means I could build several MAJOR water cities without DENTING EVEN .1 of the surface area of our oceans. Let alone enough to even matter to the eco system of our oceans.. but thanks for playing dummy. Err.. Please fact check me more. Yes, I wouldn't build my new water city Los Angeles DIRECTLY ON TOP OF important sea life blocking it from the sun fucking it up.. I would pick a spot of the ocean that actually needed life & do it there.

Finally, you didn't ever say I couldn't actually accomplish what I said I could do.. I said I could take our oceans trash & turn it into the ability to make floating structures. That's because if you fact check me.. its not hard for me to make something float.. again see aircraft carriers.. how do they make such large heavy things float? Clearly magic or voodoo because.. yeah I mean I don't have a fucking clue about science so idk.. how does it float? rofl get real

So I can actually make such structures happen.. & I can use said structures to do intelligent things with our oceans.. not just BLOT OUT THE SUN & FUCK UP THE WORLD! Who am I some B level villain.. a fucking Doctor Evil?

Now I said it in the other post.. fucking ask me what I would do with my floating super structures. I didn't say I'm going to build Los Angeles on the water over the great barrier reef to fuck that up.. Anyways, its good to know that I could not only build Los Angeles ON THE WATER, but I could also build SEVERAL of them on the water & still not even hit .1 of our oceans surface area.. but again why would I do that when we don't even use but maybe 30% of our actual landmass. (& that is being VERY VERY VERY GENEROUS TO OUR USE OF LANDMASS.. I'LL CONSIDER A GUY RIDING HIS DIRT BIKE OUT IN THE BOONIES "USING" lol) In other words.. we are still MANY BILLIONS of humans away from ever needing to use our oceans like that - but you could be damn sure if I was there I have the mind to do it.. er no wait fact check Fly's crazy & learned science from watching cartoons

So are you going to actually ask me what I would do with my sea structures? Knowing that I can actually make them.. because well we know I can.. dur fact check.. & knowing that my structures would not be used in a manner to fuck up the earths environment.. because well we know we can do that.. dur fact check.. & after reading this post make you have to wonder -

If Fly is crazy enough to turn the oceans trash into buildings & you cant prove me wrong that I cant.. & he is crazy enough to actually know stuff about the oceans.. you know like how big & empty they really are.. what humans would need to do it make it not so empty.. etc.

Wonder what that crazy fuck would do with the ability to build structures on the ocean like that.

That's because everything I stated is/are basic general facts - go ahead & attempt to prove me wrong using your sources that say otherwise

By worth it, I mean a simple matter of math. How long would that piece of equipment have to be in place in order to recoup the money and energy that was used to create it? Solar panels don't come out of thin air. Metal has to be mined, smelted and formed. Glass has to be made. Workers in plant using machines have to assemble the panels, etc. How do you know these sources of clean energy are viable on a large scale? How many cities could your turbine idea support? What I see is a bunch of stoner garble completely unsupported my any hard data at all.

First part to that was clearly stated several times in my post - I will go ahead & make it simple though

Burnables for Energy ; Coal(the 'cheapest'), Oil(works but at what costs...), Natural Gases (propane etc.), & Nuclear (the best short of fusion)

"Clean" for Energy ; Solar(expensive & so so), Wind(expensive & so so), Kinetic (several ways to do this.. in fact you should see my concepts for clean energy farms; ones that use Solar/Wind to drive water which can be used for power in addition to salt water could be dragged out of the ocean in giant black hoses where it sits in those black hoses under sunlight gaining free heat energy which is used to turn the water to steam with gives free steam energy etc. etc. etc. You are actually completely outclassed here but you can play with me if you want)

Now if you are going to go down the burnable route the best thing to do is obviously nuclear & that's a no brainer.. but here in America it isn't going to happen because we in America are not here to actually solve our energy problems or the worlds energy problems. (You would have to actually know & understand THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'S DYNASTY PLAN to really get into this.. there are reasons why we are going down the route we are & it has nothing to do with what it currently costs the American people. *Hint* if the US & the rest of the world guzzle down the oil supply the only guys left with the oil will be us in the Americas.. ie. good luck waging a war machine against us China/Korea/etc. without the oil to do it). Now aside from that momentary distraction - lets get back to the point.

If you are not going to go down the burning route for whatever your reasons, then the only other way to go are those 'clean' energy options. Now, first you are 'right' ~ pretty much all of the current 'clean' energy supplies are much more expensive than their burning counter parts.. but again I stated this in my post ; if we are only looking to solve humanity's energy issues & actually create unlimited energy for humanity, than it is totally possible & we can do it. We can use clean energy to do it & all that would have to be required is that we toss out the 'economics' of it.. but as stated, economics should not be a factor when your goal is unlimited energy for all of mankind. So Vermi, If you can make an 'absolute' statement such as you have.. than I can come back with the absolute that, if mankind was like ants & worked for the betterment of mankind, than unlimited energy is easily a possibility for mankind.. we would simply put down the economics of it & just do it as a race of peoples for all peoples.

In short, I don't need to quote sources for fact checks on this ; First we should all be able to agree that nuclear is the best option of all of them. Next, we should all be able to agree that there are clean energy sources out there that mankind could easily use to give itself unlimited power save "costs" - its the economics of it is what is keeping us from doing that & if we were to put all that crap away than there is nothing stopping us BUT us. (Further - consider already most economies are FIAT - if you are basically printing money & control of the human score board.. why not take the economics out & actually provide the world with unlimited energy? Oh yeah that's right.. because as humans all we want to do is rule our neighbors & providing the world with unlimited energy doesn't fit with our basic human nature)

There will be a point in the future, based on today's technology, whatever that point is in terms of number of human beings on the planet, when we produce refuse and waste faster than it can decompose/be buried/be cleaned (sewage), etc. So the REAL hope is that we can develop technology to speed that process up or neutralize waste faster/better before we reach that point of critical mass.

No I didn't.. I've already explained how I can make 8 billion bodies disappear from this earth (trust me I could hide all of those boddies & you would have an easier time finding that missing airplane). Now I know I am crazy, but do you realize how stupid of a sentence this is.. I fucking mean it bro, just read these words out loud;

"There will be a point in the future, based on today's technology" - read that several times man..

So I have to ask.. do you still use a flip phone irl? Do you see where I am getting at with this?

Probably not; so here we go & I will keep it simple.. first, do you have a concept of how exponentially fast our tech is actually advancing today? Now, just keep that thought in your head for a moment while you then think about how many billions of humans it will actually take before 'waste' becomes an issue like your horror story imagination is taking you to.. do you think we are going to magically 'outbreed' our advancements in tech? Facts are.. by the time we get to that point in our population numbers our tech will have figured out the solutions you seek (who knows though.. you might actually be talking to a guy that has these answers.. but why the fuck should I bother wasting my time on your tiny brains with these concepts when you cant even get around the concept of me taking the oceans floating trash & turn it into floating fucking awesome). Truth is, the 'human waste' issue is a self created issue that we humans made the choices to go down that route. We could easily change the choices we make & forge a different path..

Again, you could use the plastic bags at the grocery store knowing they end up in the landfill or you can make the choice of using the reusable bags leaving no footprint.. human making choices

Fuck dude.. for all you know, by the time we hit the billions of humans for 'waste' to potentially become an issue, then our tech may have taken us away from solid foods completely.. maybe everyone is on 'liquid' nutrient filled meals out of IV bags or in the form of a pill that you choke down with a glass of water.. who knows if we will even be making 'solid' waste to worry about like that... if you get where I am going with this.. hey wait a second people can live on liquid diets now..... that's not new tech at all.. fucking fly man so stupid.. so your saying its possible & you don't have to fact check...........................

Uhh.. as Teriya stated, I could turn that right back around at you & you would 'fail' the same way I will on it. For the record though, & you may not like this answer but its also factually correct like everything else I bring.

Science proves God.. not the other way around & I know it frustrates the shit out of scientists.

God put everything on this planet we need.. everything.. you could try to argue with me on that but you can try that argument with him first & see where it gets you

Finally remember the biggest issue with everything here is the economics of it (even going back to the original issue on health care). If it isn't making money its not happening.. for the greater good of mankind or not

Nothing you have brought is backed by any kind of science and yes the fuck I can, easily.

Here ya go buddy:

1. http://www.livescience.com/16493-people-planet-earth-support.html (cites to Harvard scientists)

2. http://discovermagazine.com/1992/nov/howmanypeoplecan152#.UyqH4PldW8o This one is absolutely going to be the nail in your fucking coffin with such quotes as:

"Here is what Coale concluded: Every demographer knows that we cannot continue a positive rate of increase indefinitely."

"I know of no qualified scientist who disagrees: The human population must ultimately approach a long-term average growth rate of zero."

"NO QUALIFIED SCIENTIST WHO DISAGREES"

That took me 30 seconds Fly. Now, find me any scientific rebuttal that supports this fairy tale you've concocted.\

False. I found 2 in 30 seconds.

Do you guys ever actually read anything before you start typing opinions about things?

By combining quotes from unrelated works of art I have determined that Fly is right. Life will find a way as long as we stay away from the core and show no fear of our nuclear gods.

Are these scientists taking into account the fact that we no longer spend trillions of dollars making war and everyone is helping humanity reach for the next step of evolution, or are they assuming that on our current trajectory life on earth will be unsustainable?

Fly is talking about the former.. I think you're trying to make it sound like Fly is saying that the earth can hold a googol of people when he's saying that if we refocused our energy from 'beating the Joneses' and wasting time with games like Darkfall there is no limit to what mankind can accomplish...

...and that doesn't mean that there is literally no limit, it's just a figure of speech.

No. He literally said:

"Fact is; we are not over populated & we COULD NEVER BE - anyone telling you otherwise is... well I will let you figure it out"

and also this:

"Resources is not the issue & if you think that you are just silly lol.. seriously fucking silly."

He actually stated that the earth could never be over populated by human beings and that there are limitless resources on earth. Both statements are completely devoid of an basis in scientific fact or even reality for that matter.

I'm not here to debate what mankind can accomplish because that is an unknowable answer because it's the future.

Also, it's not about trajectories at all. You guys are throwing a bunch of false arguments out there. I got involved in this because he made the bonehead statements above, which are just plain wrong. It is a scientific fact that if our population growth does not slow down, we will reach a critical mass point where the earth can no longer support more human beings and we will either figure out some way to extend that number, or people will start dying off. If you guys don't believe that, I have no idea how you ever graduated high school. Well I don't know if Fly even did. I know you did because you're in the military.

*Edit* Is it possible that we might come up with the Star Terk materializer thing that makes food out of thin air? Technology that will eliminate waste (a la Vapoorize), etc? Sure, I guess....but it's pointless to debate that kind of shit because nobody is right or wrong.

It's not a false argument, if humans stopped spending trillions of dollars on war and wasting our time playing Darkfall and used that energy into bettering the human race there's no limit to what we can do (figuratively speaking)
