Sorry wanted to get to this sooner but the Dragon got to me.. enjoy
Vermithrax]Dude...in that entire wall of opinionated text you still didn't link one credible source to back up what you said.
That's because everything I stated is/are basic general facts - go ahead & attempt to prove me wrong using your sources that say otherwise

I'm making a UO PK vid right now so I don't have time to go point for point on you but for starters, how do you even know if the energy used to produce solar panels or other forms of "clean" power is worth it? By worth it, I mean a simple matter of math. How long would that piece of equipment have to be in place in order to recoup the money and energy that was used to create it? Solar panels don't come out of thin air. Metal has to be mined, smelted and formed. Glass has to be made. Workers in plant using machines have to assemble the panels, etc. How do you know these sources of clean energy are viable on a large scale? How many cities could your turbine idea support? What I see is a bunch of stoner garble completely unsupported my any hard data at all.
First part to that was clearly stated several times in my post - I will go ahead & make it simple though
Burnables for Energy ; Coal(the 'cheapest'), Oil(works but at what costs...), Natural Gases (propane etc.), & Nuclear (the best short of fusion)
"Clean" for Energy ; Solar(expensive & so so), Wind(expensive & so so), Kinetic (several ways to do this.. in fact you should see my concepts for clean energy farms; ones that use Solar/Wind to drive water which can be used for power in addition to salt water could be dragged out of the ocean in giant black hoses where it sits in those black hoses under sunlight gaining free heat energy which is used to turn the water to steam with gives free steam energy etc. etc. etc. You are actually completely outclassed here but you can play with me if you want)
Now if you are going to go down the burnable route the best thing to do is obviously nuclear & that's a no brainer.. but here in America it isn't going to happen because we in America are not here to actually solve our energy problems or the worlds energy problems. (You would have to actually know & understand THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'S DYNASTY PLAN to really get into this.. there are reasons why we are going down the route we are & it has nothing to do with what it currently costs the American people. *Hint* if the US & the rest of the world guzzle down the oil supply the only guys left with the oil will be us in the Americas.. ie. good luck waging a war machine against us China/Korea/etc. without the oil to do it). Now aside from that momentary distraction - lets get back to the point.
If you are not going to go down the burning route for whatever your reasons, then the only other way to go are those 'clean' energy options. Now, first you are 'right' ~ pretty much all of the current 'clean' energy supplies are much more expensive than their burning counter parts.. but again I stated this in my post ; if we are only looking to solve humanity's energy issues & actually create unlimited energy for humanity, than it is totally possible & we can do it. We can use clean energy to do it & all that would have to be required is that we toss out the 'economics' of it.. but as stated, economics should not be a factor when your goal is unlimited energy for all of mankind. So Vermi, If you can make an 'absolute' statement such as you have.. than I can come back with the absolute that, if mankind was like ants & worked for the betterment of mankind, than unlimited energy is easily a possibility for mankind.. we would simply put down the economics of it & just do it as a race of peoples for all peoples.
In short, I don't need to quote sources for fact checks on this ; First we should all be able to agree that nuclear is the best option of all of them. Next, we should all be able to agree that there are clean energy sources out there that mankind could easily use to give itself unlimited power save "costs" - its the economics of it is what is keeping us from doing that & if we were to put all that crap away than there is nothing stopping us BUT us. (Further - consider already most economies are FIAT - if you are basically printing money & control of the human score board.. why not take the economics out & actually provide the world with unlimited energy? Oh yeah that's right.. because as humans all we want to do is rule our neighbors & providing the world with unlimited energy doesn't fit with our basic human nature)

Secondly, you still missed the point of waste management Fly. There will be a point in the future, based on today's technology, whatever that point is in terms of number of human beings on the planet, when we produce refuse and waste faster than it can decompose/be buried/be cleaned (sewage), etc. So the REAL hope is that we can develop technology to speed that process up or neutralize waste faster/better before we reach that point of critical mass.
No I didn't.. I've already explained how I can make 8 billion bodies disappear from this earth (trust me I could hide all of those boddies & you would have an easier time finding that missing airplane). Now I know I am crazy, but do you realize how stupid of a sentence this is.. I fucking mean it bro, just read these words out loud;
"There will be a point in the future, based on today's technology" - read that several times man..
So I have to ask.. do you still use a flip phone irl? Do you see where I am getting at with this?
Probably not; so here we go & I will keep it simple.. first, do you have a concept of how exponentially fast our tech is actually advancing today? Now, just keep that thought in your head for a moment while you then think about how many billions of humans it will actually take before 'waste' becomes an issue like your horror story imagination is taking you to.. do you think we are going to magically 'outbreed' our advancements in tech? Facts are.. by the time we get to that point in our population numbers our tech will have figured out the solutions you seek (who knows though.. you might actually be talking to a guy that has these answers.. but why the fuck should I bother wasting my time on your tiny brains with these concepts when you cant even get around the concept of me taking the oceans floating trash & turn it into floating fucking awesome). Truth is, the 'human waste' issue is a self created issue that we humans made the choices to go down that route. We could easily change the choices we make & forge a different path..
Again, you could use the plastic bags at the grocery store knowing they end up in the landfill or you can make the choice of using the reusable bags leaving no footprint.. human making choices
Fuck dude.. for all you know, by the time we hit the billions of humans for 'waste' to potentially become an issue, then our tech may have taken us away from solid foods completely.. maybe everyone is on 'liquid' nutrient filled meals out of IV bags or in the form of a pill that you choke down with a glass of water.. who knows if we will even be making 'solid' waste to worry about like that... if you get where I am going with this.. hey wait a second people can live on liquid diets now..... that's not new tech at all.. fucking fly man so stupid.. so your saying its possible & you don't have to fact check...........................

I'm kinda done arguing this point with you. The very notion that our planet can support an unlimited number of human beings is sheer fantasy. Find me one scholarly journal or trusted scientific source that supports this absurd notion, please. I guarantee you that you cannot because your premise makes no logical sense whatsoever.
Uhh.. as Teriya stated, I could turn that right back around at you & you would 'fail' the same way I will on it. For the record though, & you may not like this answer but its also factually correct like everything else I bring.
Science proves God.. not the other way around & I know it frustrates the shit out of scientists.
God put everything on this planet we need.. everything.. you could try to argue with me on that but you can try that argument with him first & see where it gets you
Finally remember the biggest issue with everything here is the economics of it (even going back to the original issue on health care). If it isn't making money its not happening.. for the greater good of mankind or not
