Making statements such as these scientists are.. & having you (& others) actually put faith into them or their words.. you have given them exactly what they want. They have the control they looked to get & you just gave it to them willingly.. sheeple

Just because someone has achieved a title such as 'scientist' or someone has achieved a doctorate level doesn't mean they are not completely full of shit, have an agenda to fill, etc. Just because someone is on a 'trusted' news/media venue doesn't mean what they are stating as 'fact' isn't full of shit & again has their agenda to fill.

I seem to remember when Al Gore was pushing for his bullshit that he had "trusted scientists" & people with fancy degrees get up & spout his bullshit.. even used lines just like this guy uses to explain over population - "every scientist agrees that global warming is a real threat"

It is a false argument because that was never the point Fly and I were debating. There was no figurative or implied statements that I was debating him on Teriya. I read exactly what he wrote and I disagreed with him on 2 key statements he made, as I outlined above.

Your post then stated that what I was arguing is not what he "really meant" and you proceeded to tell me what he "really meant", and that he's right. That's a false argument because it's not what he said. Well maybe he did somewhere in all that garble, but I was specifically addressing the 2 items he touted as fact, as I outlined above. One was from 1992 & contained the most 'facts' for its time - its completely out of touch for today. Most/all of its numbers & 'facts' are based off the baby boom generation. Yeah that is a great time to base your numbers/facts/opinions on shit.

In fact.. if you actually read BOTH OF YOUR ARTICLES you will see that the one from 2011 actually refutes a good 90% of the numbers presented in the 1992 article.. but ironically they both have the same message.
