Fly, you actually started to make sense a brief moment in that last one. I will chalk it up to getting some sleep. I'm pretty sure you kinda just admitted that I am right. What I have been saying all along is that at some point, whatever that point is, if we continue to multiply at an exponential rate, we WILL hit a critical mass where there are too many of us for the planet to sustain UNLESS we can figure out a way (through technology) to reduce our impact on the planet and consume less resources to balance the scale. That is a mathematical certainty and I was kinda dumbfounded that you were trying to argue otherwise. I never said there was a specific number and I will SORT OF agree with you that trying to calculate that number is a bit of a fruitless effort because trying to predict something that far out when our technology is evolving at such a rapid pace is kind of pointless.
But...then you went all weird and conspiracy again talking about dynastic thinking and how Harvard scientists are the devil. Have you ever met a really REALLY smart person Fly? Like genius level? I have. Generally, those people are literally CONSUMED by their passion for whatever field they choose to go into. To imply that all of the people of this level of intelligence (who are the fathers and mothers of technological innovation) are masterminding some weird web of control in this master plan that carries across generations is just fucking weird. Tin foil hat bro. It's also a logically unsound idea simply because of the whole "best laid plans of mice and men" thing. Sure, you could try this. And you could do your best to indoctrinate your children into carrying through with this plan but at the end of the day your plan is only as good as the people participating in it, aka the weakest link in the chain.
Also, most people in the world are already slaves, to debt. If you have any long term loans at all (mortgage, student loans, etc), you are already a slave, whether you want to admit it or not.
