I know they are laughing at me because I'm the crazy one with the tinfoil hat but its ok.. there is a reason why EVERY SINGLE member of our guild that has been a part of the armed forces agrees with me (Save Rolo & Brick who avoid the general forums but I am sure if brought up in Mumble I would get the same responses from them). Maybe if they grew up knowing that the only reason why Grandma made it out of Stalingrad was because she HAD TO EAT HER SISTER TO LIVE.. this is of coarse after my great aunt had passed from a basically a broken heart after losing her newborn baby to freezing to death just 2 hours after birth.. Maybe if they grew up knowing that their other Grandma didn't escape the war unscathed either.. she was made an orphan at just 12 years old when my great grand parents were killed in the bombings of London.. good thing she was sent to the fields away from the city like many of the other children. Maybe if they truly understood that this was just 2 GENERATIONS ago for me.. while others in the world are having things like this happen to them right now in their own generation.

I have two guys I would consider my best guy friends, like brothers to me. One is an officer in the air force and is Harvard educated. He's active duty and did a 6 month deployment to Afghanistan about a year ago. So, I think it's safe to say I REGULARLY have conversations with someone who is both Harvard educated AND who has served time in the military. If he read half of what you've written here, I'm relatively certain he'd ask me if it was written my someone in a mental facility.

I'm actually getting kind of sick of reading these shitty posts hoping for a glimmer of any sort of logic or reason. I only keep coming back here because I am bored as fuck at work.

Let me make this as plain and simple as I can for you Fly. I enjoy intellectual things. I love science and if I had it all to do over again, I'd have chosen NOT to party so much in high school and college and gone into some form of advanced science, maybe molecular biology. I have a pretty good grasp of basic science. Good enough that when I read scholarly articles, I can usually look up terms I don't understand and piece together how it all works. This is true for most things, until you start getting into the really complex stuff. For example, just this week, researchers found a new gravitational wave which they are calling the "smoking gun" that proves cosmic inflation, aka the big bang theory. But you probably think that's a lie too, huh? When I start reading the nuances of scientific research at that level, I'll admit, a lot of it is over my head. But for the most part, I can use my basic knowledge of science to form my own opinions on whether or not what an educated person says to me seems reasonable and true. I don't really give a fuck where they went to school Fly. I only care if what they are saying makes sense based on my understanding of the way things work. So all that garbage you said above, it's just not true.

Secondly, since you're getting a littler personal here, I will to. When someone comes at me spewing all this conspiracy garbage acting like they have some elevated world view and know all these "secret truths" the rest of us "sheep" are too dumb to see while simultaneously referencing "God" and "his" plans and wills and how "he gave us everything we need", I cannot help but laugh. Took the time to read a lot of the garbage that has been posted. Fly, you should look into Scientology. No joke, a lot of what you are blabbing about (human paragons and limitless growth through science, altruism and understanding) are the tent poles of their philosophies and dogma.
