Considering he's minimizing the deployment of a friend of mine who nearly lost his life on said deployment, I don't find it funny at all Fir. If it was anyone but G-Fist that posted it, I'd probably have laughed. He's a former marine and I'm real familiar with the grandiose attitudes many of them have.
