Considering he's minimizing the deployment of a friend of mine who nearly lost his life on said deployment, I don't find it funny at all Fir. If it was anyone but G-Fist that posted it, I'd probably have laughed. He's a former marine and I'm real familiar with the grandiose attitudes many of them have. For example, see other posts where he acts like Anti and other law enforcement do nothing but write tickets.

No they do for sure, since the onset of both wars 149 Airmen have died out of 6781 total KIA. And if you were in the military you'd know branch battles are common. Your buddy would probably laugh lol.
