actually i was in the gym running and it was on the tv in front of me, but that is all irrelevant. Why were there not any other news stations covering this? were they all liberal cowards or they had more important issues to cover like miley Cyrus? I wouldn't care what station it came on, and neither should you. it is an issue, and the broader theme is that the government, ours and all governments naturally amass more and more power over time. It is the job of the people to put the brakes on that shit. Like I said, I don't necessarily agree with his views or the manner that he used to achieve them, or what ever other garbage you keep spouting, I just said bravo to him for standing up for what he believes in whether right or wrong. Most people don't take a stand, they just do what they are told without questioning it. And none of that excuses the fact that excessive force was most definitely used and did in fact escalate the situation beyond what would have happened if some fucking common sense was used and that applies to both sides.
I'm sure a legal case could be made in his favor for ownership of the land. If he has been openly occupying it for over 7 years ( I think its 7 years, my real estate laws are a little rusty). ask walmart about settling with a homeless guy in a cardboard box. anyone can squat on any piece of land and claim ownership if certain criteria are met. I am not sure if that applies here, but it could.
The government is out of control at every level, I just saw an article about a lady that had her house auctioned unknown to her, because she owed something like $6.50 of backed taxes..... Her husband had just died and was the one that took care of the financials. If you look at the law, they were justified in their actions, but that does not make it the right thing to do.
To touch on your comments Obs, I'm sure that British loyalists in the article I posted earlier thought that our founding fathers were all lunatics as well... I am not trying to compare the two specifically, but there are some similarities. I however don't think Our founding fathers thought the British were controlling the blood moon and they may or may not have been racist. And to touch on racism, I would venture to say that pretty much every human being in the world is racist to one degree or another, whether its against another country, or religion, or university, or state, or color, or view point. Case in point every person that has expressed a conservative or libertarian view point on this thread has been viciously attacked and ridiculed. If that is not a form of racism I don't know what is.
