Hexen]NWN was king of these because of the toolset it came with. I'm suspicious of EA owned Bioware and Dragon Age in particular since it's the franchise most co-opted by social justice warriors, but if they have blood and titties I'm in.
Nothing beats DA. I even liked DA2, although most people seem to have hated it. The first is a fucking masterpiece though -- reminded me of those epic RPGs you played on the first Nintendo at like 10 years old. Great part about the game is there is so much depth to it... the first play through I had no idea there were unique armor sets and weapons. On my next few playthroughs, I had to get everything. Game was amazing.
DA was much better than DA2, that's for damn sure. I still enjoyed DA2 but i'll never go and play it through a 2nd time. DA i think i tried 4 different run throughs with different builds.

I was a fanatic. Probably had 6-7 play throughs on DA, and 2 on DA2. I always do 1 good, 1 bad, and then one whatever. I didn't like the magic system on DA2 as much as DA. And yes, DA > DA2.
Games been delayed until November 18th. Official word is polishing. Unofficial word is they decided to include a character and story arc that EA was pushing to release on launch as DLC.

EA has so much money are you kidding me! C'mon you know 1/2 ppl won't actually pay for a single player, if rather support a struggling artist and buy a cd then pay a huge ass company who have profits in the billions!!
