I think the exact opposite. To me, the Leftover is a bizarre, mysterious event and people reacting in a way that you would expect from people. They become angry, fearful, searching for answers, questioning everything.

Strain to me is so unrealistic. I mean, jesus...
Click to reveal..
A plane lands and 98% of the passengers are dead from an unknown agent. Unexplained ammonia traces everywhere. Signs of violence (from thing bursting out of cargo hold). Cargo that is not on manifest with UNKNOWN BIOLOGICAL ORGANISMS. Federal agents gets head exploded and box goes missing from restricted area. Medical examiner and his entire staff MURDERED. Bodies missing.

CDC response? Sure, who the fuck needs a quarantine. Release all 4 survivors into NEW YORK FUCKING CITY. I mean, they fucking throw people in jail that refuse to get TB treatment... what the hell do you think they do when it's an unknown agent that killed hundreds of people in seconds?!?!

Unrealistic?? 3% of the planet disappearing into thin air is realistic?

The Strain is meant to be unrealistic its about vampires. But at least their are answers for things. The box, the plague, the ammonia all these things stem from the vampire boss. Sure fill me in on the details later, that's why I will watch.

To all you virgins, thanks for nothing.
