Hey,
IGN: Steven Arthur
I recently joined Death with my friends John Mueller and Champion ofBeer. Champion and I started with Empyrean Divine and were friends with Battle Saints (who let us use Kvitstein when TED was first starting). After TED disbanded, Champion and I joined Battle Saints again for a bit in the interim while we found a new clan. We eventually joined Dark Side but quickly decided we didn't like it because Libra Lives was a prick.
We went back to Battle Saints again while we figured out where we wanted to go next. Battle Saints always accepted us because we would defend with them, help in their defensive sieges over Alden Enak against Spectre Legion (a mutual distaste for SL), and were agreeable people. We knew we didn't want to stay with BS though because their PvP was lacking severely and we wanted somewhere to learn and get better. While in Battle Saints the last time, we met John Mueller who we thought was a real cool guy, and shared are thoughts.
We decided on Death for the AoI as well as feeling that any group holding that AoI were good players. We were right, and we were happy to be accepted. We have all been to several sieges (Tlaloc, multiple at Long March, the ill-fated Calfardar venture, etc.). We've helped in group farming for Fire Giants, we went on several raids against ZERG, we've been to several sea towers/village captures, and have responded to several city defenses.
A few weeks ago, I left for Texas to visit family about the same time that John was moving for college. When I returned, I found that John had been kicked and wanted to know why. I'm not interested in dropping names regarding who I talked to or what was said, but I did not get a response about it. I figured it was simply a "need-to-know" basis and left it alone. Champion came on and asked about it as well (he is our friend and we'd like to play with him without conflicting with Death) and next thing I know, I'm kicked.
I'm really only concerned with understanding what I've done wrong, and hopefully resolving it to join again. If asking a few questions on a friends behalf is wrong, I'll stop doing that. If not being around for a few weeks was bad, I had hoped informing the officers was sufficient. I just started my junior year as CSUS and moved in this weekend and wasn't prepared to participate for the last week, sorry =(
I want to be a part of Death, and can correct if I've made mistakes, but I need to know the mistakes I've made. If John did something unforgivable and can't rejoin, so be it. We've talked about a scenario where he can't rejoin, and he doesn't want me to leave. If Champion said something out of line and can't rejoin, so be it. The same scenario applies.
Any response regarding the issue is appreciated.
Regards,
Steven Arthur
