It was when police started being allowed to carry the assault rifles though. I didn't say I agreed with it. I am just saying the outrage allowed for it to happen and it shouldn't have. I have always believed that only a small group such as SWAT should have access to such things, and they only be called in for emergency situations.

I am just saying that it was city council votes that put this in play across the country. Before that only SWAT could carry ARs or a pistol with a caliber larger than 9mm.
I have always taken issue with policy being changed based on a single incicent in most cases. Obviously we haven't seen a shooting like this since. It happens all the time. One random ass thing happens and the media goes apeshit causing local goverment to institute some bullshit.
