I stopped watching SNL some time during the Chris Farley cast when I got a car as a teenager. I don't watch TV as it is now, I catch shit on hbogo or Netflix and that's about it.

It's just strange to me that people have beef with other people for watching shit intending to be funny (whether it is or isn't is moot). Especially a huge rant that could easily be applied more credibly toward Fox programming like their "news" or "spin free zone" shows that are absolutely opinion based (O'reilly factor, Limbaugh, etc).

The shit where people not keeping a straight face during a skit was kinda funny back when SNL was funny for sure, like in the Eddie Murphy, Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Steve Martin, etc. (and it happened once in a blue moon). I catch Fallon every once in a while, and I don't go out of my way to catch late night network TV in general..but when I do it's no contest better than Leno.
