lol Moxie, pretty much. Do you remember when he had to resort to and out of country 3rd party purchaser (Tab I think) and customs fraud just to get ahold of a decent Nvidia graphics card? When I googled "bulgaria" and clicked images, I found a picture of a Bulgarian militia. No wonder they've been conquered so many times.

Vermithrax]In the event I ever do get into a situation where one of "the crazies" opens fire in a public place, I and anyone else around me would be happy I have my concealed handgun on me. Doesn't everyone want to be the "hero" that happens to be in the right place in the right time? Aren't you a little too old to believe in miracles? From the top of your head...name 5 accidents where such things have happened and the hero saved the day. Just 1-2 months ago you had a shooting next/in your building...what did you do tough guy? I'm sure your coworkers were all happy that you had a gun...all the long hours while yall were hiding in the closet and waiting for the cops to do their job. Have you ever been shot at? Will you keep your cool and be able to draw and shoot back or pee in your pants? Just saying, next time you go to the range include this in your training to be prepared. I'm not gonna try and change your mind on whether or not "free weaponz fo yall" in us is good or bad. Plenty of better man have tried and failed in this thread alone. Was just saying my opinion, though I should've known better. Moxie]harry is just mad the only thing they get to concealed carry in Bulgaria is the crippling sadness of living in Bulgaria. Nobody here have to conceal carry this. If you don't like it where you are - you move away. 2 mil bulgarians(mostly under 35 years old) in the last 25 years did that. I will spare you the googling - this equals about 20-25% of our population living abroad.

Harry, you are an utter fucking retard. I cannot bring a gun to work, whether I have a CCW or not. Our internal policies do not allow weapons on the premises. I would lose my job if I brought a gun to work and they found out about it. Having a CCW means you're allowed to carry a concealed weapon where lawful, assuming the owner of any private property you happen to set foot on is okay with it or doesn't know about it. Just like I can't bring marijuana to work, even if I have a medical marijuana card. Fucks sake man, use your head.
I'm 100% certain that if I was being shot at, I would be able to draw and fire a weapon in self-defense. Although, I imagine my first instinctual reaction would probably be to find cover before trying to draw.
Just because you're a bitch and couldn't calmly handle yourself or a weapon in an emergency situation doesn't mean I am. I don't panic.

So in order for you...or anyone else to be a hero these things have to happen: 1. you have to be off work 2. you have to be outside your office 3. you need a solid cover to hide behind 4. you have to carry your weapon with you 5. you need to be doing nothing somewhere with a good point of view 6. a crazy person draws and shoots some randoms 7. you have positive ID on the bad guy, thus you're clear to shoot him down
You were better off just saying that you will be able to defend your home/family against intruders and leave it at that.
I mean...we can carry this on forever. You can call me names, and I can shoot down your silly arguments. But sooner or later everyone that argues with you just stops. And I'm sure you always think you've won.
ps. yeah, i'm doing this on purpose just to irritate you. like moxie said I'm sad and mad living in my poor country...probably cuz bad.

Why do you keep talking about being a hero? In your apparently limited view of the world, is it really so impossible to believe that situation could occur in public where I was personally threatened and might need to respond with deadly force to save my own life?
This is what always cracks me up about gun control people. You guys spew out statistics about gun violence in America and then turn around in the same breath and tell me how unlikely it is I will ever need to defend myself. Well, if it's so unlikely, why do we need tougher gun laws? Do you see how your argument is fundamentally flawed? Either gun violence in America is pervasive or it isn't. If it is, then shouldn't I be allowed to defend myself from such violence on equal footing?
I wasn't better off saying shit. You apparently don't understand the issue at hand. Having a firearm in your home (to defend your home/family) is totally legal in all 50 states, assuming you are not a convicted felon and are of age to own the gun. It's also not the issue we are discussing in this thread, though to be fair, this thread has gotten way off track many times.
We're talking about concealed carry, which is the lawful ability to carry a concealed firearm wherever you go (with the exceptions I previously noted), provided you have a permit allowing you to do so. My reasons for wanting to do so are twofold. One, I already addressed above (have it in the rare event I need it).
And two, I believe it's my constitutional right. The reason this lawsuit happened is because California banned open carry a few years back. Open carry is the practice of lawfully carrying a gun, openly displayed and NOT loaded in public. But to do that and ALSO put some arbitrary requirement of "good cause" to carry a concealed gun is too restrictive of my 2nd amendment right to "bear arms", or so the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals believes.
Basically Harry, California is trying to have it's cake and eat it it too with respect to the "bearing arms" portion of the 2nd amendment and somebody finally decided to fight that legal battle.
Also, what the fuck do you know and why do I care what some foreigner cares about my run rights in 'Murica? Enjoy your limited freedoms in your shitty country and quit being so jealous.
