IF war somehow happens you will be given a rifle, not a hand gun. Or put in a tank, if you're short. And only after you spend weeks in some boot camp to teach you teamwork and/or how to shoot that rifle. Only chance you can use your pistols is if you're invaded and you form up militia resistance. Though let's be realistic...you have nuclear weapons and oceans on both sides. Who the fuck will invade you? Canada or Mexico? Use your brain sometimes...however little there is.
