Not nearly as quality as my Benjamin Sheridan .22 cal pellet gun though!

Haha! This is true. The Benjamin Sheridan was definitely the "grown up" pellet gun. It was what?? 800fps? Pretty much the same velocity as a .45 auto handgun. Have you see those new air rifles that are like 1300+ FPS? They look pretty salty.

I just don't get the "why" behind these though. They are just as expensive as a decent .22 LR. If you're going to spend 3 to 400 bucks, why not just get a real gun?

The only reason I can think of is if you need to do varmint hunting in city limits, otherwise .22 long rifle is definitely the better buy IMO.

This is the one I have now. Its a .22 cal and its just under the speed of sound so I can pop squirrels without the neighbors knowing. only down side was it cost like 500 bucks.
