JJ Abrams has fucked up alot of shit imo. He also mentioned somewhere that he may not be doing the rest of the series. Some quote like it was good to be a part of this, kinda saying he may or maynot be doing the rest. I also read he was super frustrated by the constraints he had due to the star wars universe. Good to hear it wasnt awful.

No, it was great. Made better by Abrams. First time in 30 years I've seen a Star Wars movie that relied on myth, adventure, mystery and strong characters. Abrams is involved in the whole trilogy (and producing the first several universe movies) but not directing any more at this time. The next director is Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper).
