Oh dude, he's a phenomenal player. I didn't say otherwise. But so is/was Kobe Bryant and he's one of the biggest douches the NBA has ever seen. I am not really trying to compare Kobe to Cam, I am just saying that just because someone has got incredible talent doesn't mean they're going to get a pass for behaving like a spoiled child on national TV when they lose. I don't really think that people are necessarily grasping at straws. I think it's just a highly televised event and when you behave that way and 10's of millions of people are watching, yea, you are gonna catch some heat for it. Richard Sherman is a perfect example of that and his team didn't lose. Nobody was grasping for straws in the case of Sherman either. They were just annoyed he behaved like such a douche on national TV.
I guess I just miss the kinds of post game interviews that Michael Jordan gave. He is arguably the greatest NBA player in history. But you watch his interviews and he was the epitome of class in almost every single interview. Why do people even watch sports? Because we enjoy competition, right? It's just so much more enjoyable when you see players gracefully accept both wins and losses and be classy regardless of their talent or win/loss record.
