Kylo Ren is going to be the 'Vader-like, pure evil badass,' everyone was hoping for in movie 2. I can almost guarantee it. I think a lot of people criticizing Kylo Ren don't really understand how he is going to develop over the course of the movies. His cringey lines/behaviors/unmasking are all purposeful - he's just a confused/disturbed/angry child.

That being said- people are still way too fucking hard on him.

He destroyed the jedi academy by himself(Luke couldn't/wouldn't even stop him), took a blaster shot center mass and still fucked up Finn(obviously force sensitive and trained storm trooper), can read minds, killed Han Solo, can stop blaster beams with the force(Has any Jedi/Sith done this? I can't remember anyone else doing this?)... All while he was just a bratty/immature punk. Is anyone else fucking pumped to see what he's going to do next movie?


I really hope this is true, which is why I said I gave his character a bit of a pass. They left it with a lot of potential for future development and I hope they make good on it.
