<br>If what you say is true, that means he outsmarted an entire governmental system that has been in place for hundreds of years. Which begs a lot of questions: How did an idiot end up in the highest office in our country? Certainly the American people wouldn't elect an idiot as their president, right? Or are all Americans bigger idiots than him? I just did a little research on the CNN website, and in October, 296 Representatives in the House and 77 Senators all voted to approve of the use of force in Iraq should diplomatic options fail. Are they all idiots and madmen too? Surely they didn't all fool their constituents to get into office too, did they? You really believe that? Or are you as misinformed as some of those hippies in that San Diego rally? I'm not claiming to be the all knowing political guru, but I know bullshit when I see it.

It's one of the "reasons" that war is justified, however the primary "reason" is that Saddam has failed to comply with resolutions passed by the UN. The fact that the UN has failed to put any teeth into those resolutions is a failing of that institution, and we are not required to be party to their failures. At some point, someone has to step up and take responsibility for removing the cancer of the Iraqi people, and we just happen to have the scalpel and the sack to use it.
